HANNA EIMERMACHER alias ANNA KUMI
Is a Berlin based composer, performer and artist with an unlimited curiosity for exploration and a passionate drive for creation. Her endeavours led her to explore the field of sound, choreography of sound and movement, the inseparable bond of public and performer and their co-creation of every artistic presence, the shared experience of magic and her deep dive into spiritual realms. Building of instruments such as FRAMES, a sound sculpture for percussion. She as well creates performances in exhibitions or outside spaces, developing performances with children.
Her artistic work is getting performed as well as she performs in her works herself.

Growing up in Gelsenkirchen, Germany, studying composition at the Hochschule in Bremen, Graz, Frankfurt a.M. and NY Buffalo, USA, followed by artistic residencies in Rome at Villa Massimo, Royaumont, Paris, and Villa Concordia in Bavaria. With gratefulness for all encounters on her journey, studying with Younghi Pagh-Paan, Beat Furrer, Pierluigi Billone,
Mark Andre, Georges Aperghis and David Felder among others.
Her work has been performed by Ictus Ensemble, Klangforum Wien, Ensemble Modern, Trio Catch, Ensemble Handwerk, Ensemble Kollektiv Berlin, Ensemble Mosaik, Ensemble Contrechamps, Klangforum Heidelberg, Dal Niente, and soloists such as Christian Dierstein, Eva Reiter and Sergej Tchirkov.
She taught at multiple courses such as June in Buffalo, University at Buffalo, Bilkent Summeracademy in Ankara, Turkey, at Musikhochschule Dresden, Germany among others.

Currently focusing on the relationship of movement and sound, body and voice, with an ephazise on vocal exploration. Her works range from solo performances of voice and movement to larger scale space installations embracing the public into the very center of creation being washed and touched by sound, light, transformation of roles to create a magical field of wonder, building of light sculptures and moving sculptures as generating sound.
